What happens after you submit?

This is the usual path from form submission to a clear decision on whether travel-based outpatient GI coordination in Shanghai might make sense — coordination only, not medical advice or a diagnosis from us.

Submit the symptom form

You complete the questionnaire with symptoms, timeline, and context. That gives us a structured starting point for screening — not a diagnosis and not hospital acceptance.
Human initial screening

We review your answers to see whether a travel-based outpatient GI workup could plausibly fit our narrow pathway. Many cases are ruled out at this stage; that is intentional.
If it may be a fit, we ask for records

When screening suggests continuing makes sense, we usually ask you to share relevant documentation (checklist below) so expectations and next steps are grounded in facts, not guesses.
Email or WhatsApp follow-up

We continue on email or WhatsApp (business name: medtrip-shanghai) to clarify details. Contacting us still does not create a doctor–patient relationship with us or guarantee hospital dates.
Confirm fit, then package and dates

Only after fit still looks appropriate do we discuss paid coordination, package scope, and timing. There is no pressure to buy before that checkpoint.
If it is not a fit, we say so

When travel is unsafe, unrealistic, or unlikely to help, we recommend local or urgent care first, or explain why this route is not right. We prefer an early “no” to the wrong trip.

Response time

We aim for a first reply on business days (Monday–Friday, China Standard Time, UTC+8) within about 24 hours. That is an operational target, not a legal promise. Holidays, volume, or complex cases may take longer.

If we ask for records, what should you gather?

You do not need all of this before submitting the form. We only ask when it helps screening — the same list we emphasize in our SIBO guide for organized travelers.

Concise symptom history — timeline, triggers, and what you have already tried
Medication list, especially antibiotics, PPIs, and probiotics
Recent labs and stool tests, if available
Prior GI notes, endoscopy or imaging reports, or referrals
A short written list of questions for the treating team
